The Yamuna Body Rolling technique is traditionally taught on the floor. This method was designed so individuals can learn to take charge of their own healing and body sustainability. It uses various sizes of specially designed balls to stimulate and align bones. Direct stimulation by the ball wakes up brittle, impacted bone, beginning to soften it, restore circulation and improve bone quality. YBR is useful for mobilizing and decompressing joints, elongating muscles, improving alignment, deeply releasing fascia, stimulating bone and increasing body awareness. It also helps remove restrictions, for example, old injury patterns, scar tissue, adhesions, bad posture. There are simple modifications for almost every procedure to allow use of the wall or a chair to replace floor use, for those with difficulties working from the floor.

This work utilizes the floor YBR concepts on a therapy table and includes the use of practitioner provided traction to release muscle tension and create space in joints. The body part being worked is molded around the ball and then tractioned. In this way, both sides of the body are worked-the ball works the lower side while the practitioner's hand works the upper side. Traction is used to set correct bone alignment; then the muscles are released so they can conform to this new alignment.

A small very soft face ball and larger neck ball are used to target the bones and muscles in the skull, face and neck.

Foot Waker and Foot Saver props are used to help educate the feet to move better. This work targets plantar fasciitis, Morton’s Neuroma, fallen arches, pronation and bunions. These props can also be used for wrist, hand and finger therapy and strengthening.

YBR sessions can be designed to target Hips, Shoulders, Knees, Back, Neck, Feet or Face.

Kandy is an Advanced Registered Yoga Instructor (500 hours) and is additionally certified to teach Energy Medicine Yoga (EMYoga™). This style of yoga incorporates many exercises/poses that are directly related to Donna Eden’s Energy Medicine program. Kandy intersperses classical yoga flow classes with bits and pieces of Energy Medicine. She also teaches the entire EMYoga Essential Practice as a “physical, mental, and spiritual detoxing” workshop incorporating the Wake-UP, Celtic Weave, Tracing Meridians, K1 Pulse, Clearing the gaits, Illeo and Houston Valve Reset and more.

Classical yoga and EMYoga™ include pockets of mindfulness based upon Kandy's Christian beliefs. She knows there are Christians who believe that practicing any style of yoga is against their beliefs but she finds a Christ-centered approach to yoga deepens her faith. In her classes she typically begins with a bible verse to help focus on setting a personal intention and provides time at the end to quiet the mind before the Lord concluding the practice by resting in God’s Holy Presence.

CST was developed by Dr. John Upledger, an osteopathic physician who with a team of other scientists performed and published clinical research that formed the basis for the CST approach. CST is a light-touch approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. CST allows the entire body to relax and self-correct. The use of gentle touch of various parts on the body is used to monitor the rhythm of the cerebral spinal fluid that is flowing around the central nervous system. Areas of weak fluid flow or tissue motion are located and traced to areas of weakness through the body to the original source of dysfunction. Delicate techniques are used to release those problem areas and improve the form and function of your central nervous system.
